This painting shows a nude woman standing in a simple room. The background is plain. She looks calm. The light hits one side of her face and body. Gouin painted this during the 1850s in France. He worked on hand-painted stereoscopic images. They used two similar pictures to trick the eye into seeing depth. This artist also made early 3D-style photos.
