About this work

This screenprint by An Gee Chan won the 2011 Jealous Graduate Prize. The piece was made during a paid residency at Jealous Print Studio in London. Each year, eight London art-school grads create limited-edition prints together. The whole set goes on view in a group show and later to the Victoria and Albert Museum. The story of this work

Overview

In 2011, An Gee Chan, a graduate of the Royal College of Art, produced the limited-edition print *Lets Stick Happily Together* as part of the Jealous Print Studio Graduate Prize residency. The work was created during a paid residency at Jealous Print Studio, where winners from eight London art schools collaborate with studio technicians to develop new prints. The resulting prints from each year’s cohort are exhibited together and later donated to the Victoria and Albert Museum’s print collection. This piece reflects Chan’s participation in the program’s structured yet creative framework.
