Contribution to V&A's 150th anniversary album is a 2007 by Manolo Blahnik, held at Victoria and Albert Museum.
Manolo Blahnik drew a shoe to celebrate the Victoria and Albert Museum’s 150th birthday. The V&A invited 150 artists to mark the anniversary with a single page in an album. Blahnik chose a drawing—simple, focused, and personal. It’s a quiet piece: one shoe on a blank page. No colors, no crowd, just the object and the artist’s hand. Look up the Victoria and Albert Museum.
Manolo Blahnik contributed a page to the Victoria and Albert Museum’s 150th anniversary album in 2007, part of a project inviting 150 artists and designers to reflect on the museum’s collections through drawings, designs, or written messages. His submission appears in the first of three volumes containing 60 pages. The album was created to celebrate the museum’s 150 years at its South Kensington site.
