The story of this work

Overview

In 2007, artist Alison Britton contributed a page to the Victoria and Albert Museum's 150th anniversary album, which commemorated the institution's opening at its South Kensington site. The album featured contributions from 150 artists, designers, architects, and photographers, each expressing their inspiration drawn from the V&A's collections through drawings, designs, sketches, graphics, or written messages. Britton's page is part of the first volume of a three-volume set, one of 60 pages in that volume.
