This print shows two toads—one curled up on its back, the other hunched forward like it’s about to leap. The background is plain, letting the toads stand out in dark, rough lines against a yellowish paper speckled with gold flecks. At the bottom, red text spells out "UNISHING" and "ENGLISH," but it’s cut off and looks like a stamp or label. The artist used a mix of scratchy lines and smooth shading to make the toads look almost alive. The gold in the paper adds a strange, glowing effect, like they’re lit from behind. Next, check out etching to see how artists like this one create deep, textured prints.
