This drawing shows jagged, slanted letters that almost form words. They look like signs chopped up or melted together. The lines are rough but full of energy. Chryssa often mixed letters and symbols in her work. She started this in San Francisco, then took it further in New York. She liked how words shape how we see things. Try looking up the Museum of Ethnography to see more of her pieces.
