A Bouquet of Flowers (Lilies and Peonies) is a 1930 by Marion Dorn, depicting Bouquet, held at Victoria and Albert Museum.
This drawing shows a bouquet of flowers in a vase. The flowers are lilies and peonies, and they're drawn in a simple yet elegant style. The artist has used lines and shading to create depth and texture. The bouquet is the main focus of the drawing, and the artist has done a great job of capturing its beauty. The flowers are arranged in a way that creates a sense of movement and energy. A pen drawing by Marion Dorn depicts peonies and lilies arranged in a rectangular bag, and is signed with a dedication to Ted. The work was formerly owned by Edward McKnight Kauffer, to whom Dorn was married in 1950 after living with him since 1923. It entered the museum’s collection through a purchase from Sidney Garrad, Kauffer’s assistant in the 1930s.
