About this work

EYEcon2:edition.jp is a print from 2002 by the artist EYEcon. It’s part of a set made by Japanese and UK artists who mixed old woodblock printing with digital tools. The artists tested new ways to blend tradition and tech at a workshop in London. This edition shows how printmaking can change when you add digital steps. Overview

A 2002 series of nineteen digital prints, *EYEcon2:edition.jp* merges traditional Japanese woodblock techniques with digital design, resulting from a workshop at Wimbledon School of Art. Each print in the series integrates handcrafted woodblock methods with contemporary digital processes.
