This sketch shows a person bent over a table, drawing with a pencil. Their hair is wild, and the lines around them look loose and hurried. In the background, there’s a faint sketch of a building with a bridge, barely visible. The artist used a drypoint technique—scratching lines into a metal plate to create texture. This method lets ink fill the grooves, making the lines pop. Check out Forain, Jean-Louis to see more of his quick, sketchy style.
