This photo shows a close-up of a tree trunk. Its bark looks rough and cracked. The lighting makes the texture stand out. You can see every groove and bump. Aris Georgiou shot this in his series called *Arboretum*. He picks trees most people ignore. His goal is to make us see their shapes and details we usually miss. This photo focuses on one trunk but makes the whole tree feel alive. Check out more of his work at the Museum of Ethnography.
