About this work

Sadie Hennessy made a screenprint called *Accident* in 2010. It’s part of a special collection at the Victoria and Albert Museum. This print comes from a competition where eight art schools in London pick one grad each year. Hennessy won while studying at Central Saint Martins. Her print was part of a group show of new editions. Check out the Victoria and Albert Museum.

The story of this work

Overview

In 2010, Sadie Hennessy created *Accident* as part of the Jealous Print Studio Graduate Prize, an initiative established in 2009 to award one MA Fine Art graduate from each of eight major London art colleges a residency and the opportunity to produce a limited-edition print. The work was included in the group exhibition showcasing that year’s prize winners, whose prints were later donated to the V&A’s print collection. Hennessy’s piece reflects the collaborative process guided by Jealous Print Studio’s team during her residency.
