The Seas and Oceans of the World: A Chromatic Excerpt, Quadriptych is a 2012 ink by Thomas Jenkins, held at Victoria and Albert Museum.
This 2012 screenprint is one of eight graduate prints from Jealous Print Studio’s prize. It’s part of a group show held at the Victoria and Albert Museum. Each year, one MA Fine Art graduate from eight London art schools wins a studio residency. Winners make a limited-edition print under guidance. Jealous then donates all prints to the V&A’s collection. The series highlights fresh talent from London’s top art schools. *museum: Victoria and Albert Museum*
In 2012, Thomas Jenkins created *The Seas and Oceans of the World: A Chromatic Excerpt* as part of the Jealous Print Studio Graduate Prize, awarded to an MA Fine Art graduate from the Slade School of Fine Art. The work was produced during a residency at Jealous Print Studio, where Jenkins developed a limited-edition print. The resulting quadriptych was later included in a group exhibition of that year’s prize winners before being donated to the Victoria and Albert Museum’s print collection.
