About this work

This looks like a blank canvas with faint, rough sketches. There’s a small oval shape with wobbly lines inside it, some scribbled letters, and a few numbers and marks in red and blue. The paper is light brown, and the whole thing feels unfinished, like a first try that didn’t stick. The scribbles might be notes or a failed attempt at drawing. The red numbers and letters look like they could be inventory tags or dates, but they’re hard to read. If you like abstract art, check out the Museum of Ethnography to see more pieces like this.
