This drawing shows a fancy chandelier with lots of swirls and loops. It has dangling teardrop shapes and small squares at the bottom left and right. The lines are thick in some spots and thin in others, making the design pop. The artist used tiny lines to build up dark areas—this is called cross-hatching. It’s a trick to make shadows look real without color. Look up cross-hatching next to see how it works.
