This is a blank beige wall with a single line of black typewriter text in the center. The words read *"NOT NEEDED,"* in plain, capital letters. Everything else is empty—no color, no shapes, just a quiet, bare space. The piece isn’t a painting at all. It’s made from six sheets of paper with typed words, stuck together. The artist wanted you to notice what’s *not* there almost as much as what’s written. If you like this kind of art, check out Robert Barry.
