This painting shows a bearded man in a long robe, holding a book and making a gesture with his right hand. Behind him is a golden halo, and his clothes have crosses on them. On either side are two smaller figures, also haloed, dressed in simple robes and holding objects. The central figure’s face is serious, with a thick beard and dark, heavy eyebrows.
