This print is mostly red and black on white. The red is a big, messy blob in the center. Inside it, there’s a tangle of thin black lines that look like scribbles or maybe a face half-hidden. The artist used a method called aquatint to make the red area look soft and blurry. The black lines are drawn over it, almost like a sketch trapped inside. Check out etching, drypoint, aquatint to see how artists create these layered prints.
