You see a group of 13 prints, each one different in style and mark-making. Some use bold colors, others soft lines or abstract shapes. Together, they form a shared art project from the late 1960s. This set was made to mark Canada’s 100th birthday. Each artist chose their own way to respond, using screenprinting, a method that lets ink pass through a stencil. One print has extra paper layered on top, a technique called chine collé. Another has hand-drawn marks added after printing. Look up The Museum of Modern Art to see how other artist groups made collaborative prints.
