This painting is all sharp black shapes on a light pink background. The lines are jagged and uneven, some thick, some thin. They overlap in a messy pile, like broken sticks scattered on the floor. The artist used only two colors: black and a soft pink. No faces, no objects—just angles and lines. It looks like the painting was made by cutting up shapes and gluing them down. Check out Vasily Kandinsky for more work like this.
