Roman Verostko

1989

From the collection of Victoria and Albert Museum

About this work

This is a drawing made with a machine. Roman Verostko wrote a program to draw the lines for him in 1989. Each line was plotted one at a time, no repeats. Verostko started using computers to make art in the 1980s. His program was called Hodos. The lines look careful, like handwork, but a pen plotter did them. Look up the Victoria and Albert Museum next.
