This is a black-and-white print of a fancy doorway. The drawing shows columns, carvings, and an arch above the door. Sunlight hits the left side, making shadows on the right. The artist used a sharp tool to cut lines into metal. This is called engraving. The lines create dark and light areas without color. It looks three-dimensional because of this technique.
