Ubaldo Gandolfi, an Italian painter, draughtsman, and sculptor of the late-Baroque period, was known for his biblical, mythological, and allegorical subjects, as well as portraits and nudes. Active mainly in and near Bologna, he and his brother Gaetano were celebrated artists in Italy, gaining fame for the excellent quality of their works.
Ubaldo Gandolfi's works remain significant examples of late-Baroque art in Italy.
