Bradley Ertaskiran

Bradley Ertaskiran is a contemporary art gallery in Montreal, Quebec, established in January 2020 through the merger of two existing Montreal galleries. Positioned as one of Canada's leading commercial galleries, it represents emerging and established Canadian and international artists and maintains an active presence at major art fairs across North America and Europe. The gallery is a member of the New Art Dealers Alliance (NADA) and L'Association des galeries d'art contemporain (AGAC).

Bradley Ertaskiran was created in January 2020 when Megan Bradley, director of Parisian Laundry, and Antoine Ertaskiran, founder and director of Galerie Antoine Ertaskiran, merged their operations. The partnership was announced in November 2019, with both gallerists citing the need to combine expertise, reputations, and networks to increase their national and international presence. Bradley had directed Parisian Laundry since its founding in 2007, while Ertaskiran had run his eponymous gallery since 2012 in Montreal's Griffintown district. Since opening, the gallery has participated in international art fairs including The Armory Show, Frieze Los Angeles, Frieze New York, and Art Basel Miami Beach. In 2023, the gallery presented Azza El Siddique in the Positions sector at Art Basel Miami Beach, followed by Jeremy Shaw in the Nova sector in 2024, and in 2025 moved to the main Galleries sector.

Bradley Ertaskiran's program focuses on contemporary art across multiple media, with particular strength in painting, photography, sculpture, and installation. The gallery represents a roster of Canadian and international artists whose practices engage with themes of identity, representation, and the body. Its programming balances solo exhibitions with curated group shows, often placing works produced in different decades in dialogue to highlight continuities in artistic inquiry. The gallery has demonstrated a commitment to mid-career and established artists who have developed sustained practices, while also supporting emerging voices. In 2024, Werner presented Spiders and Snakes, a solo exhibition of new paintings that occupied the entire main gallery, shown concurrently with the group exhibition À distance appropriée featuring Sandra Brewster, Suzy Lake, and Joyce Wieland. The gallery has also presented solo exhibitions by David Armstrong Six and Margaux Williamson, whose works were featured at Frieze Los Angeles 2026. Other notable represented artists include Jessica Eaton, Stephanie Temma Hier, Bony Ramirez, Jeremy Shaw, Erin Shirreff, and Joseph Tisiga. Suzy Lake's practice, spanning over fifty years, has been particularly prominent in the gallery's programming, with works from the 1970s through the early 2000s exhibited.

Bradley Ertaskiran occupies a restored industrial building at 3550 Saint-Antoine Street West in southwest Montreal, the former premises of Parisian Laundry. The location features two distinct exhibition spaces: a main floor gallery and a secondary space referred to as the bunker. The main floor underwent renovations for the gallery's 2020 opening. These two spaces allow for simultaneous presentations and accommodate diverse artistic practices, from large-scale painting installations to intimate photographic works. The industrial character of the building provides a notable setting for contemporary art presentation.
