About Center for Architecture
The Center for Architecture is located at 536 LaGuardia Place in Greenwich Village, Manhattan, New York City. Designed by architect Andrew Berman, the storefront facility was completed in 2003 to serve as the headquarters for the New York Chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIANY). Since its inception, the center has functioned as an increasingly prominent cultural institution through its focus on architecture, urban planning, urban design, and environmental planning. The galleries host a revolving schedule of seminars, public feedback forums, project unveilings, and educational programs alongside its changing exhibitions.
The Center for Architecture houses several partner organizations and serves as a public forum for architectural history and sustainability.
