Ram Gopal is an Impressionism artist. 8 works are cataloged here, principally at Victoria and Albert Museum.

Ram Gopal spent his life painting the rulers who ruled him, a quiet rebellion wrapped in regal colors and gold-leaf flourishes. He never left India but kept the Mughal style alive in his Jaipur studio, long after British rule had moved on. If you’ve ever seen a miniature portrait with peacock-blue skies and tiny gem-like details, that’s his world.

Look up Emperor Jahangir, it’s not just a face, it’s a whole ceremony painted on a palm-sized sheet of paper.
