Albert Gebhard

Finland
Albert Gebhard is a Finland Art Nouveau artist. 6 works are cataloged here, principally at Finnish National Gallery.
Albert Gebhard’s studio smelled like turpentine and boiled coffee. He painted in the mornings, hammered metal in the afternoons, and kept a life-size wooden fox in the corner to remind him that art should surprise. His small watercolor *Näköala Inhasta* shows that surprise in a single cobalt wash that turns a Finnish farmhouse into something faintly sacred. Look for it when you’re scrolling—it’s the one where the light feels older than the scene.
