Virginia Richmond Reynolds (1866 to 1903) was an American painter known for portrait miniatures. Born in Chicago, she studied at the Art Institute of Chicago and then in Munich under Carl Marr, where she married the painter Wellington J. Reynolds. The couple moved to Paris, where she studied with Charles A. Lasar and exhibited at the Salon.
Her success there led to her election as an associate of the Societe Nationale des Beaux-Arts in 1898. A founding member of the American Society of Miniature Painters in 1899, she also taught the technique, including the first course in miniature painting at the Art Institute of Chicago, before her early death at thirty-seven.
