Artist
Ragunath

Ragunath is a Realism painter. 2 works are cataloged here, principally at Metropolitan Museum of Art, most of them watercolors.
Ragunath turned loose, ink-stained sketches into sharp little worlds on paper, often putting travelers and gods in the same frame and never quite choosing a side. His untitled scenes from the 1880s and '90s feel like postcards found in a shoebox: bright crowds, bold color, and a quiet joke tucked in a corner, as in Untitled (ca. 1880-1900).
