Artist
Muhammad Husseyn
Muhammad Husseyn is a Mughal Painting artist. 1 work is cataloged here, principally at Victoria and Albert Museum.
Muhammad Husseyn kept a tiny studio above a spice shop, where he painted on scraps of paper between tea breaks. He never signed his work, but his paintings glow like stained glass, bold blues, fiery reds, and gold leaf that catches the light. His 1774-5 Untitled piece (a slice of paradise garden with peacocks and fountains) looks simple until you notice the hidden figures in the foliage.
