Tōgen Zuisen 桃源瑞仙

Tōgen Zuisen 桃源瑞仙 is a Renaissance artist. 1 work is cataloged here, principally at Metropolitan Museum of Art.
Togen Zuisen and Kenko Shokei painted ink-and-paper landscapes in 15th-century Japan and left a single scroll, "Landscape with Pavilion" (1478-80), where mist curls around a pavilion tucked among pines. Black wash and a few soft colors build quiet depth from foreground rocks to far-off peaks. A small signature sits in the lower right.
