Lemuel Wilmarth was an United States artist.

Lemuel Wilmarth was an American painter who lived from 1835 to 1918. He studied under the artist Wilhelm von Kaulbach before establishing his own career. Wilmarth is noted for his role as an educator, having taught the artists William Merritt Chase and Thomas Anshutz. His work and instruction contributed to the development of American art during the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.
