The Sirohi Master is a name given to an anonymous painter, or workshop, associated with Sirohi, a princely state in southern Rajasthan in northwestern India. Sirohi was a regional center of Rajput painting, and its artists produced devotional and literary manuscripts, including ragamala series and illustrations of Hindu religious texts, in a provincial Rajasthani idiom marked by strong color and flat, patterned compositions. As with many traditional Indian court painters, the artist's individual name was not recorded, so surviving works are grouped under a stylistic designation rather than a documented identity.
