This painting shows four soldiers riding horses hitched to a wooden wagon. One soldier sits on a white horse behind them. The background is a flat, dusty field with a few distant figures and a faint hill. The colors are mostly browns, grays, and muted greens. The artist signed the bottom right corner with the year 1901.
