Ghivece is a work by Ana Asvadurova-Ciucurencu, held at Gavrila Simion Eco-Museum Research Institute Tulcea.
This is a faded, mostly blank sheet of paper with a light brown tint. Near the top corners, there are two small pencil numbers—"15" on the left and "180" on the right—and a smudged "C." In the center, a faint, pale mark looks like a smudge or a ghostly outline, barely visible. The paper feels worn, like it’s been handled a lot. The numbers and letters might be notes from someone studying or cataloging it. If you’re curious about where this piece lives, check out the Museum of Ethnography.
A printmaker from an earlier era, Ana Asvadurova-Ciucurencu made linocuts and woodcuts capturing everyday scenes.
