About this work

This print shows three dancing figures in mid-motion, their arms raised and legs bent. The background is plain, letting the brown and cream colors of the bodies stand out. The figures overlap slightly, giving the scene a sense of movement without too much detail. Check out the Victoria and Albert Museum to see more works like this in person.
