Zaragoza, Casa de los Gigantes, (now Audiencia) is a 1854 photographic by Charles Clifford, a Impressionism work, held at Victoria and Albert Museum.
This photo shows a stone gate with two giant carved figures holding up the arch. Above them, smaller carvings of people and animals sit on a ledge. The building behind has a simple arched doorway with a window above it. The carvings look rough and weathered, like they’ve been there for a long time. The photo itself is grainy, almost like an old sketch. Next, check out Clifford, Charles to see more of his work.
A mounted sepia photograph from 1854 depicts the arched entrance of a stone building, flanked by two large sculptures of men. Inside the archway, two figures are visible in motion. The photograph is part of a collection of 380 images and 13 duplicates documenting Spanish art and architecture, acquired by J.C. Robinson for the Department of Science and Art.
