Kaksi mäntyä is a 1910 by Eero Järnefelt, held at Järvenpää Art Museum.
This sketch shows two tall pine trees with thick trunks and sprawling roots. The branches twist upward, some bare, others dotted with green clusters. The paint is loose and watery, with patches of blue and brown blending into the light background. A faint gray shape on the right side looks like a building or wall. The artist focused on the raw, uneven texture of the bark and roots—no smooth lines here. The trees feel alive, almost struggling against the sky.
