This tree looks like it’s made of paper. The trunk is thick and golden, with branches spreading out in all directions. Leaves are cut from different colored papers—some green, some blue, some brown—and stuck on. A few leaves even have tiny patterns on them. The background is soft and pale, like a light wash of watercolor. The artist used real scissors and glue to build this tree. Each leaf and branch is a separate piece of paper, pasted down one by one.
