Recto: A cyclamen is depicted with pinkish-red flowers featuring a yellow center, a white style, and marbled green leaves with reddish undersides. Verso: A common borage is shown with bright blue flowers and whitish to reddish centers. The drawing is part of a 59-watercolor album attributed to Jacques Le Moyne de Morgues, dated around 1575. The album was acquired by the Victoria and Albert Museum in 1856 as part of a bound volume in a 16th-century French calf binding.
