This sketch shows two exaggerated figures playing with a big ball. The one on the left wears a loose, patchy outfit with a wide-brimmed hat and a bag slung over his shoulder. His arms are outstretched, as if he’s balancing or reaching. The figure on the right is shirtless, holding the ball with one hand while his other arm rests on his hip. Both have big noses and stocky builds, drawn in quick, loose lines. Notice how the artist used simple shapes and bold outlines to make the figures look comical. The ball between them feels almost like a joke—too big for their hands. Check out the Baroque movement for more playful, dramatic art like this.
