Untitled is a 1972 by Paul Neagu, held at Victoria and Albert Museum.
This is a drawing by Paul Neagu, made between 1968 and 1976. It’s part of a big group of 93 works he gave to the Victoria and Albert Museum in 1999. The artist picked these drawings himself, with a curator, to show how his ideas grew over time. You can spot his favorite shapes like hyphens, stars, and the “subject generator.” Look up the Victoria and Albert Museum next.
The drawing is part of Paul Neagu’s series *Cosmosizing Man*, featuring diagrams annotated with notes and titles. It belongs to a group of 93 works on paper donated to the V&A in 1999, selected by the artist alongside curator Gill Saunders to illustrate the evolution of his practice. The sheet incorporates recurring motifs such as the hyphen, the starhead, and the ‘subject generator,’ alongside studies linked to his installations, performances, and generative art concepts. The work reflects the interplay of ideas across media and spans nearly three decades of Neagu’s career.
