This sketch shows a chaotic scene with lots of rats swarming around a group of people. The figures are tangled in rough, sketchy lines, and the rats are everywhere—on the ground, climbing over people’s feet, and even crawling on furniture. The drawing looks hurried, like the artist was quickly capturing movement and chaos. The people seem to be reacting to the rats, some covering their faces or trying to get away. The background has a few windows and doors, but the focus is clearly on the rats and the panic they’re causing. This sketch is part of a series by Pinwell, George John.
