View from Trollhatta is a 1834 by Edward Price, a Romanticism work, held at Victoria and Albert Museum.
This print shows a rocky shore with a few small wooden buildings clinging to the hillside. The water below is rough, with waves crashing against the cliffs. In the distance, a shipwreck lies half-submerged, and two tiny figures stand near it, looking out at the sea. The title says this is a "View from Trollhatta," but we don’t know exactly where that is. The artist used loose, sketchy lines to capture the wild, dramatic feel of the scene. Check out the Victoria and Albert Museum to see this print in person.
