This drawing shows a woman holding a baby while another child reaches toward them. The woman wears a loose dress and a head covering. The child she holds looks small and round, and the other child has chubby arms and legs. The background has faint shapes of buildings and figures, but they’re barely there. The artist used a mix of dark lines and light washes to show shadows and folds in the clothes. The paper has a grid drawn on it, which artists use to copy or plan a painting. Look up Tibaldi, Pellegrino to see how he worked in Renaissance drawings.
