This image shows a fancy goblet with a wide base and a narrow top. The goblet is covered in swirling patterns—flowers, leaves, and scrolls—all drawn with sharp lines. The base has two big scallop shapes on either side, and the whole thing sits on a small pedestal. The artist used tiny dots and lines to create shadows, making the design pop. This style was common in the 1500s. Check out how this was made using engraving.
