Moated Town Gate is a 1676 by Wenceslaus Hollar, a Baroque work, depicting Bohemia, held at Cleveland Museum of Art.
This drawing shows a walled town with a tall gate in the center. Behind the gate is a church tower with a steep roof and small windows. Windmills stand on the left side, and two people walk near a moat in the front. The artist focused on tiny details, like the texture of the bricks and the way light hits the walls.
