This painting shows a quiet coastal landscape with rolling hills and a rocky shore. A few people and animals—maybe cows and sheep—are scattered across a grassy slope near the water. In the distance, there’s a small building and a lone tree on a flat stretch of land. The brushstrokes are loose and soft, giving the scene a dreamy, unfinished look.
