Artist

Hamilton

Hamilton is a Baroque artist. 2 works are cataloged here, principally at Brukenthal National Museum.

This 18th-century artist left behind playful scenes of birds and colonial encounters. Two prints in our collection show a hoopoe in mid-flight and Captain Wallis meeting Queen Oberea in Tahiti, complete with a dance called the Timrodee. You’ll find these under the artist’s name, tap straight to Pupăză zburând for a flash of wings, or choose the print to watch the royal chat unfold.
