Tōsendō Rifū was a Japanese ukiyo-e artist of the Edo period, active around 1730. He is known for paintings of beautiful women, or bijin-ga, particularly elegant courtesans, a central subject of the floating-world art of the early eighteenth century. A representative work, a hanging scroll depicting a standing courtesan executed in ink and color, survives in the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
