Margareta Sterian

Margareta Sterian’s paintings mix sharp lines with soft light, often putting herself or friends into quiet everyday scenes. You’ll find her self-portrait, a skating scene called Patinaj, and a sketch for a friend’s portrait in this set. She also drew book illustrations, like the ones for M. Sadoveanu’s novel.
